My Lady's Manor is located about halfway between the cities of Bern and Lausanne.
By motorway from Zurich, continue to Bern and then on to Murten, Avenches and get off at Estavayer-le-Lac. Go toward the Centre Ville and when entering the city gates turn left sharply on a very small street. Follow this short street and turn left at the first opportunity (toward Yverdon or CFF Gare). Go two blocks and turn left in front of a COOP store. You will see our street (Rte St-Pierre) on your left. Turn left on St Pierre and turn into our parking lot, (No. 7) on the right-hand side. If the gates are closed, open them and come in. From Geneva take the autoroute Lausanne/Yverdon and get off at Estavayer-le-Lac.
By Train, check for the best train to either Fribourg or Yverdon-les-Bains. http://www.rail.ch/ is a very helpful website for planning your travel by train. Please do not hesitate to contact us by email for any questions you might have.

Estavayer-le-Lac is a treasure from the Middle Ages. Its ramparts are almost entirely intact and encompass winding cobblestone streets, a collegial, museum, castle and convent where Dominican sisters have resided since 1316 without interruption. Estavayer-le-Lac is also an active summer vacation and sports center possessing the only water ski-tow in Switzerland. It is on the shores of Lake Neuchatel which is connected by canal to the lakes of Morat and Bienne. For more information about the irresistible charm of Estavayer-le-Lac, click on :
